NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended defensive tackle Tank Johnson for eight games. Johnson can trim two games off his suspension if he has no further legal incidents before Goodell reviews his case, which will occur no later than October 1, according to ESPN.com. Johnson recently served 60 days in jail for violating the terms of his probation that stemmed from a 2005 weapons charge.
Johnson is a run-stopper and doesn't garner much attention in IDP leagues. Whatever value he may have had took a huge hit as a result of his suspension. Anthony Adams is projected to start in place of Tank at defensive tackle.
