Dolphins: Green dives right in

Trent Green had already looked at about an hour of film from recent Dolphins practices by the time he was introduced at a press conference on Thursday, and he already feels comfortable in the offense he'll be running in Miami. "It's probably about 80-85 percent the same terminology [as Kansas City's]" Green told the Miami Herald of the system being installed by Cam Cameron. "It's like how part of the country calls it 'soda' and part of it calls it 'pop.'"

Green will work under new Dolphins quarterbacks coach Terry Shea, who was his position coach in Kansas City from 2001 to 2003, and he's also familiar with Cameron from when both were with the Redskins. As you would expect, Green is going about his business like the 13-year veteran that he is, and he should be able to step in and run the Dolphins offense without any difficulty. Well, until he takes a few punishing hits behind a questionable offensive line, that is.
