Steelers: Timmons remains sidelined

Linebacker Lawrence Timmons, the Steelers first-round pick in the 2007 draft, hasn't practiced since suffering a groin injury during his first NFL workout May 11. "We'll try to get him a couple of reps next week and see where he's at," Steelers linebacker coach Keith Butler told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "You don't want to keep having a recurring problem. I'd rather see him get well, get healthy, make sure he's in great shape."

At least Timmons is attending the workouts and learning the defense. The team is being cautious with him to ensure he's at full speed for training camp.
