The Cincinnati Bengals defense has had a down year to say the least, and now the season of starting middle linebacker Ahmad Brooks is over. Brooks was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, and will have surgery on his torn groin muscle soon. Brooks was hurt in the Week 2 loss to Cleveland, and has not played since. Maybe this is why the Bengals have had a defense that couldn't stop a three-year old on a sugar high. It could be the absence of Brooks, right?
