The Buccaneers may be in the hunt for a veteran offensive tackle to replace starter Luke Petitgout, who was lost for the season with an ACL injury. A report in a Tampa newspaper speculated that the Bucs had contacted the Vikings regarding Bryant McKinnie, but the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that there is no evidence to support that suspicion. McKinnie has had a lousy season thus far. He is ridiculously overpaid to the point that we'd be surprised if the Bucs would agree to take on his huge salary even if the Vikings were willing to part with their starting left tackle.
