Ward expected to start

With Brandon Jacobs on the sidelines, the Giants will once again turn to Derrick Ward in the coming weeks. However, head coach Tom Coughlin also expects to work Reuben Droughns into the mix. "(Ward) has played enough now to be a guy that has a little savvy about the spot. He's certainly proved in training camp that he deserves the opportunity and he certainly will get some more," Coughlin tells the New York Daily News. He adds to the team's official web site, "Droughns will get more work now, obviously." Droughns has been serving as fullback out of necessity, but Reuben obviously knows how to run the ball as well. Fantasy owners should seek to add Ward, as he will probably be the more useful back in the coming three-to-five week, but this entire offense could be in a lot of trouble if Eli Manning also misses time.
