Russell finally signs

Quarterback JaMarcus Russell officially signed a contract on Wednesday morning, and the Raiders will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. to announce the deal. The Sacramento Bee confirms that the six-year contract is worth $68 million, with $31 in guarantees. Russell is obviously way behind at this point, and the Raiders will likely continue to use either Josh McCown or Daunte Culpepper for the next couple months. We do expect the No. 1 overall pick to step in at some point this year, but he probably won't be a fantasy factor.
