The Vikings held Erasmus James out of practice on Thursday. The St. Paul Pioneer Press cited a "team decision" for his absence. James is trying to work his way back from an ACL tear. Ray Edwards started and played well in place of James last week. For that matter, rookie Brian Robison logged a pair of sacks while playing in obvious passing situations.
