Goodman could return

Starting cornerback Andre Goodman is expected to play for the first time this season on Sunday. According to the Miami Herald, Goodman, who has been rehabbing from two separate offseason shoulder surgeries, was cleared by doctors to return to action this week, though it's unclear if he'll be able to play against the Jets or not. A secondary that was torched by the Cowboys a week ago would be aided greatly by the return of Goodman, who would start at corner with Travis Daniels sliding over to safety. If Goodman can't go, it appears Michael Lehan would move into the starting lineup at corneberback, which means Daniels might be permanently moved to safety. In any case, suffice it to say the Dolphins secondary is a work-in-progress, so don't hesitate to play Laveranues Coles and/or Jerricho Cotchery this week.
