Rams: Brown suspended four games

Fakhir Brown has been suspended for the first four games of the 2007 season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. The league didn't reveal the specific nature of the violation, according to the AP. Brown started 14 games for the Rams last season and tied for the team lead with three interceptions. The Rams are already pretty thin in the defensive backfield, and being without Brown for the beginning of the season certainly won't help.
