The Cowboys placed left tackle Flozell Adams and right tackle Marc Colombo on the physically-unable-to-perform list on Wednesday. Adams is coming off left knee surgery, and Colombo is recovering from a right knee operation. Head coach Wade Phillips tells the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Adams is day-to-day, while Colombo could be out for another week. It's never good to open camp with both starting bookends on the sidelines, but neither tackle is expected to miss much more time. If these injuries linger, the Cowboys will need to turn to some younger, less experienced options. That could be bad news for Tony Romo and the running game
