Rice healthy but will be inactive again

Simeon Rice doesn't like his situation with the Broncos right now, but he doesn't plan to ask to be released. Rice is expected to be left off their active roster again this week, according to the Denver Post. "I'm the highest-paid scout-team player in the country," he said. "How can I be upset? I won the lottery. I'm making ($3 million) for doing nothing." That doesn't sound too bad, but he's clearly frustrated with his situation. He said he's fully recovered from his shoulder surgery, but for now, he's not part of Denver's gameday plans.
