Jeff George would like to resume his playing career with the Vikings. "With a running back like Adrian Peterson, I would be licking my chops," George told Tuesday's St. Paul Pioneer Press. "With that running back, you need someone who can throw that deep ball, and I know I still can. I don't care about the talent at receiver." Well, George and Brad Childress have at least one thing in common - Chilly doesn't seem to care about the lack of wideout talent either. George is 39 years old and hasn't thrown a pass in an NFL game since 2001. Granted, it's not like the Purple could possibly be any worse with George taking the snaps, but it's safe to assume that they'd rather play for the future.
