Taylor unlikely to play

Chester Taylor was limited during practice for a second consecutive day on Thursday and is considered unlikely to play. "I don't think you can put a guy out there at that high-impact position that can't weather the storm," head coach Brad Childress told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. He is nursing a strained oblique muscle. Taylor is from Motown and missed last year's homecoming due to an injury, so this is a tough break for him. Rookie Adrian Peterson will get the start if Taylor is unable to play.
