Smith suffers shoulder injury

Steve Smith was knocked out of Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. The rookie had X-rays, which disclosed an injury to his shoulder blade, but it's not clear yet how this will affect his status going forward, according to the AP. Smith's injury could turn out to be significant, because he could have been in line to start if Plaxico Burress' ankle injury ends up keeping him out. We'll keep you posted on his status.
