Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard did not practice on Wednesday and is not expected to play in Week 4 against the Giants, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. Sheppard sprained the MCL in his right knee in the season opener. William James is starting in his place. This is good news for Eli Manning, Plaxico Burress, Amani Toomer, and the rest of the Giants passing game. Sheppard is the best cover man the Eagles have.
