Joseph placed on IR

The Giants placed defensive lineman William Joseph on injured reserve on Tuesday. He has a back injury, the team's official web site reports. Joseph was a first-round pick in 2003, and he has been a major bust over his five years. We're pretty sure he won't be with the Giants come 2008, although we've thought the same thing for about three years
