Redskins right tackle Jon Jansen underwent surgery on Thursday. He fractured his right fibula and dislocated his right ankle in the season opener. Director of sports medicine Bubba Tyer tells the Washington times that a plate and screws were inserted to stabilize the leg and a ligament was repaired. Jansen is out for the year, and Todd Wade is starting in his place. This is just a follow-up to all the previous news about Jansen. We'll see you again in 2008, Jon.
