The partially torn groin muscle that Steven Jackson suffered will likely keep him out two-to-three weeks, according to the St. Post-Dispatch. Jackson has already been ruled out of this week's game because of the injury, which was suffered in the fourth quarter of Week 3's loss to the Buccaneers. We're not sure how many doctors the Post-Dispatch have on their staff, but this seems like a reasonable estimate considering Jackson will be "week-to-week" after this Sunday. Brian Leonard owners could see him start against two mid-tier defenses, the Cowboys and Cardinals, over the next two weeks.
