Rams running back Steven Jackson believes the rain that fell throughout Sunday's game in Tampa was the key cause of his groin injury. "That heavy rain kind of tore up the field," he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "They had a game there on Saturday (South Florida vs. North Carolina), so it was really muddy and the field was kind of sloppy. ... I was slipping throughout the game." Jackson has already been ruled out of this week's game and very likely will miss additional weeks. Stupid rain, costing fantasy owners their first-round pick.
