Laurence Maroney was limited in practice on Wednesday because of a groin injury. Maroney never appeared injured during last Sunday's 100-yard rushing effort, but we can only assume he tweaked his groin at some point during the blowout win over the Bills. Given Bill Belichick's penchant for playing games with his injury report, this could be a ploy to convince the Bengals Maroney, who ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns against the Bengals a year ago, is not at full strength.
