The Bills won't bite off more than they can chew with rookie starter Trent Edwards on Sunday, instead taking things slowly as he prepares for his first NFL start on Sunday against the Jets. "We'll get a feel for what he's comfortable with, and then we'll have to temper that because he'll tend to feel confident," head coach Dick Jauron told the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. "He can grasp a lot of concepts, but there's a difference between knowing them and executing them with the precision you need to succeed in this league." The Bills offense can't get much more basic than it already was under J.P. Losman, but Edwards should be better prepared against the Jets than he was when he was thrown into the fire in New England a week ago. The Jets rank 28th in the NFL against the pass and 27th in points allowed, but the Bills are putting up just barely 200 yards per game as it is, and we fully expect a heavy, heavy dose of running back Marshawn Lynch on Sunday.
