Delhomme not likely to start Week 4

Jake Delhomme left Sunday's game with an elbow injury. While he hopes to return for Week 3, the Charlotte Observer reports that appears unlikely. "I strained it," Delhomme said. "I made a couple of throws on the next drive and it just didn't feel good. I don't know what it is. I hope everything is normal." More should be known about his status on Monday, but since the Panthers have David Carr to stick in, expect the club to be cautious with Delhomme
