Eagles safety Brian Dawkins suffered a stinger in the fourth quarter of Monday's loss to the Redskins, the Philadelphia Inquirer notes. Dawkins went to the locker room and did not return. Stingers vary greatly in degree of seriousness, and the Eagles obviously hope this one doesn't linger. Dawkins is the heart and soul of that defense.
