Jeff Backus' streak of 99 consecutive starts at left tackle could come to an end on Sunday. He is nursing a strained muscle in his rib cage and is considered questionable for the Week 4 game against the Bears. Right guard Damien Woody is also nursing a rib injury and is uncertain whether he will play on Sunday. This can't bode well for Jon Kitna or the Lions running backs.
