Laurence Maroney continues to practice with the team in training camp drills, but he has yet to shed the red no-contact jersey. According to the Boston Globe, Maroney was still wearing red on Monday when the Patriots reported for their second week of work. At this point it seems highly doubtful that Maroney will be ready to play in this weekend's preseason opener. I still haven't heard a single thing mentioned in regards to the status of his surgically-repaired shoulder, but fantasy owners should continue to operate under the assumption that he'll be ready to roll by Week 1.
