McIntosh out four-to-six weeks

Chiefs left tackle Damion McIntosh will be out for four-to-six weeks after spraining his right knee on Monday. Details about the ailment were not provided. Will Svitek will take his place. "He's got a great opportunity," head coach Herm Edwards tells the Kansas City Star. "We'll have a great opportunity to evaluate him and find out how he's going to hold up. He's going to be our guy." Ugh. Svitek, a sixth-round pick in 2005, has appeared in one game on offense (two on special teams) over the past two years. But, hey, he's received some valuable experience in NFL Europa. The interior of the Chiefs line looks excellent, but I continue to have major worries about their tackles.
