Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden met with free agent Daunte Culpepper on Thursday, according to the St. Petersburg Times. General manager Bruce Allen and senior pro personnel assistant Doug Williams accompanied Gruden to the meeting with Culpepper, who serves as his own agent. The Buccaneers collect quarterbacks like Angelina Jolie collects foreign orphans. They already have seven quarterbacks under contract, yet are still shopping around for more help. Gruden has already declared Jeff Garcia his starter heading into training camp, but his continued interest in exploring other options can't bode well for the veteran signal caller.
