Justin McCareins has played well enough during offseason workouts that he is unlikely to be traded, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. "Even if I ended up somewhere else, what would it hurt me to keep working as hard as I can?" McCareins said.
McCareins has flopped badly since signing a huge free agent contract three years ago. He lost his starting spot to Jerricho Cotchery a year ago and has been little more than a fantasy afterthought since breaking out for over 800 yards and seven touchdowns with the Titans in 2003. His limited role does not figure to change this year.
